Services
Pierce Hill Farms snow blowing service runs from November 1st to April 1st and commences when 5cm of snow has accumulated. We aim to have your driveway cleared as soon as possible so you can meet your daily commitments. Our highly experienced operators then return after the city plows have cleared your street, to remove the snow ridge from the end of your driveway.
Myles, founder and owner of Pierce Hill Farms has serviced Barrhaven exclusively for 16 years. Our operators are skilled, conscientious and polite and we are proud to be represented by them.
Do we offer a Guarantee to have your driveway cleared for a certain time of day?
Due to the unpredictability of the weather, we cannot guarantee a certain service time. We do guarantee your driveway will be cleared each time we have an accumulation of snow in excess of 5cm's.

Responsibilities as a snow blowing customer
At Pierce Hill Farms we do everything we can to alleviate the stress of snow removal for our customers. There are a few things you can do as a customer, before November 1st, to help improve service and avoid damage.
Lower any water valves that may be on your driveway and protrude above the surface.
Trim overhanging branches to allow our tractors to pass under the branches to be able to access your driveway to clear it completely.(we will need 12 feet for clearance)
Remove all objects from your driveway. Flower pots, basketball nets, hockey nets, garbage, recycling, extension cords
Move or redirect downspouts away from the driveway.
Cover any trees or shrubs you want to protect from the snow.
In addition move all vehicles prior to snowfall. Or at least move them as close to your house as possible, or park as tightly as you can to one side of your driveway.
If your front step protrudes into your driveway we recommend placing something on the step. For example: a planter with earth in it. We can place a marker in it for our divers to see so they are aware of the steps location.
